Privacy Policy
Effective July 9, 2026
We believe transparency is part of faithfulness. This policy explains in plain language what data we collect, why, and how you can control it.
1. Who we are
238 Global ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Acts Continuum platform at 238global.com. Our mission is to document Spirit infillings and water baptisms happening across every nation. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information collected through our website and APIs.
2. Information we collect
When you submit a revival report we collect the city, country, event date, people count, your name, and optionally your email address, church or ministry name, and a written testimony. If you create a contributor account we store your email address and a hashed (never plain-text) password. We log IP address hashes (not raw IPs) for abuse prevention. Our analytics provider collects anonymised page-view data; no cross-site tracking cookies are used.
3. How we use your information
Report data (city, country, event type, date, people count) is published publicly to advance the documentary mission. Testimonies are displayed only for approved reports. Email addresses are used to send account notifications and, if you opt in, an infrequent newsletter. We never sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
4. Data retention
Approved report data is retained indefinitely as part of the Acts Continuum historical record. Account data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by emailing [email protected]. Anonymised aggregate statistics may be retained even after deletion.
5. Cookies
We use a single session cookie for authentication (HttpOnly, Secure). No advertising or analytics cookies are set. Embed widgets (iframes hosted on 238global.com) do not set third-party cookies on the embedding site.
6. Third-party services
We use a managed PostgreSQL database (Neon) and a cloud hosting platform (Vercel) both of which process data under their respective DPAs. Report submissions may be reviewed by AI-assisted verification tools; results are stored but raw submitted content is not shared with third-party AI providers beyond the verification step.
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to data portability. To exercise these rights contact [email protected]. We respond to verified requests within 30 days.
8. Children
238 Global is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information please contact us immediately.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
